During the tour, Kyagulanyi also campaigned for fellow NUP candidate George Musisi, who is contesting the parliamentary seat for Kira Municipality.

Musisi is among the party’s key contenders in the ongoing race for the position.

The tour began at Kyagulanyi’s residence in Magere, where he met with supporters before proceeding to various stopovers.

He is expected to continue engagements in Bweyogerere and later Kasangati as part of the day’s campaign activities.

NUP officials said the Kira Municipality tour is part of a wider mobilisation effort ahead of the 2026 elections, with several similar outreach programmes planned across the country to consolidate support for both the presidential and parliamentary candidates.
